Thanks for your words about you and your father and about you and your sons. Your sons responses to your father and to you are commenable. They are there for the both of you. You are wise to allow them to experience your and your father’s humanity. Buechner somewhere says that we live in world that often tempts us to be less than human or more than human. Your father is one of my favorite people. I have enjoyed being with him in BWB. I recall his kindness and gentleness.
